Hey,

I'd like to get our restaurant online with GrubHub/DoorDash/Uber Eats/Etc.

No, I don't want to use their tablet.
No, I don't want DoorDash calling me.
Yes, I want it to be integrated in the POS.

now... the question... is how do we do it? I've got coders on the ready so if I can get some API instructions or how to interface with the program directly, I can just write my own stuff.

At this point the only integration available is with BigHoller.  You might call them to learn what they are doing with regard to capturing future orders from customers that use these services.  I'm not sure it's rolled out yet, but soon!

Hi Starblazer,

This is a very interesting question. You are not the first to ask. We have looked at this already and it is something we are interested in doing. Are there others out there that are looking for this?

Yes, I know that some of our franchises was wanting integration with GrubHub, Uber Eats, etc. They ended up going a different route just so they could use those services.

We are totally interested but I don't think that we need to involve you, BigHollar, in it. I mean, most of the delivery services handle payment by themselves and then provide it to the restaurant.

I mean, it's like Walmart providing checkout agents for Target. When something goes wrong it's a huge blame game. I'd rather get it directly from Inbourne and then let the POS vendor and the outside delivery/website vendor fight it out versus POS vendor, competing website services operator, and the outside delivery/ordering website vendor playing the blame game.

We will not be programming to directly accept orders from third party delivery services. The amount of programming required would amount to several months worth of programming to program, test, Field test,  etc with every service. An unbelievable amount of time and programming resources would be needed.  This assumes that each service is willing to spend the time to work with our development team and that is not a given.

BigHoller is better suited and formatted to handle incoming transactions from various sources and then output them to Point of Success.  The output link is already there and works well.   They are "the shortest distance between two points", so to speak.

BigHoller is trying to get a feel for how many users would be interested so that they can determine if offering this service would actually be used by many or just a few of our Point of Success users.
