1. Login box from order entry does not disappear when switching to office manager or internet browser.
2. Online orders that havent been paid online can no longer be transferred to our bartender so they can pay them, edit button that opens up order is grayed out.
3. When a manager logs in, they are not shown only their open or pending tickets, but a list of everyone who has open tickets. They have to manually scroll a list (from the new drop down menu) of every employee that's worked here until they find their name to click on theirs. Can this be changed in settings?
1)I'll write that up. It's set to "always on top" without regard to the Windows focus.
2)Try transferring to the administrator. Assuming that works, then it's a permission issue for the group assigned to the bartender. Otherwise post back and I'll try it here.
3)The View Tickets area was redesigned. All tickets are shown upon login, Should you change the tickets to view, until you log out, that will remain the default view.So in your case, login, choose only your tickets by choosing the user from the list. Until you logout or change the user again, this will be the default view for this "session"...again, until you log out. Then after log out, you will see all users tickets again. Seeing all users was the default before the programming change.
We have no issue paying the order, but only a manager can pay it out (or anyone with high enough rights). My bartender does not have rights beyond employee rights so they cannot even see the online order tickets. A manager has to log in, find the ticket and then pay it out under their own bank because it cannot be transferred to the bartender as it previously could.
Create a new group "super-bartender" and give that group the ability to pay/view other's tickets. Make the affected bartender a member of that group.
The bottom line is it sounds like the bartender is too restricted and can't perform all the operations you need him to do. Changing permissions for him/her will solve that problem.
The fact that you could change an online order (which has it's own server name) to another server should have never been allowed. Changing servers for local orders is still allowed (and is quite common) but online orders have some unique aspects. The line of code that should have stopped you from changing servers must have been discovered in the latest build, so in effect the error allowing you to change servers for online orders was corrected.
That makes sense, and yeah, being able to do it for so long and now not created a little headache for us. Ive since opened up the ability for the bartender to view all tickets which has seemingly fixed everything.
