Our main terminal shut down while opening a till on the 2nd register. Now the till on the 2nd register isn’t active. We can’t take payments on that machine and the system will not allow us to close it or open a new one. Has anyone experienced this before and how did you resolve? Error message is “Till or Bank XXXXX cannot be found”

The problem you are experiencing doesn't make sense on it's face since when the database server is not running, no workstation can run on their own. (You said "Our main terminal shut down".) It sounds like you might have multiple database servers running (due to an improper installation) and that can be a source of many problems.
