I upgraded from tm88II to the tm88v the printer works fine but cant not get the cash drawer to open up it worked fine before i chnaged printers isnt the code 27-112-48-55-121? any help why cash drawer doesnt open?
Choose a code and click on TEST. (Be sure to try all codes until you find one that works.) If the drawer opens then the problem is that you didn't open a till or have a permission setting that might need to be changed.
IF the drawer still does not open when clicking TEST, then check the printer to make sure it is printing a Windows test page. If the printer won't print a test page, the cash drawer won't work either. You will need to call the printer manufacturer for help setting up the printer.
IF the printer prints a test page, then check the cabling making sure the cash drawer is plugged into the printer.
printer works fine it prints orders etc test page. i tried allthe codes for cash draw it not opening. i checked the cable it worked fine with the tm88iii. sighs why i figured maybe it a diffrent code or something?
Did you install the correct driver for the printer? If none of the test codes work with the new printer, but one did work with the old printer; then try reinstalling the correct printer driver. There might be a slight difference between the driver for each model printer and the slight difference might be how the cash drawer operates.

problem is with pos itself i need help. test the draw in the epson utlity draw opens just will not open in p.o.s i used all the test code provided. when i tested out the 2 pin draw it opened and the 5 pin did not in the epson t88v ultity now where do i go from here?
We've covered all the basics. You have either overlooked something or have something odd going on. Point of Success will kick the drawer when a payment is made if the drawer opens when the TEST button is pressed and if a till is open.
At this point, call support.
Please make sure the RECEIPT PRINTER is the correct one selected in the Workstation Setup under General>Printers>Receipt. If the incorrect printer is selected or NONE appears then our program will not open the cash drawer, but the printer driver will open the cash drawer.
